Artist's Description

St. Peter’s Catholic Church, built in 1833, stands high on a ridge overlooking historic Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Even though Harpers Ferry changed hands nearly 14 times during the Civil War, St. Peter’s survived the bombings that damaged so much of the rest of the town. It also served as a hospital for both Union and Rebel soldiers.

About Judi Quelland

Judi Quelland

I was a professional photographer for more than 35 years. While my vocation included wedding and portrait photography and the restoration of very old (and not so old) images, my avocation goes toward the more creative. These include floral and landscape photography (hopefully with a different perspective), some special events that lend to creative images, and a few things that start as photographs but end as digital art creations. Stay tuned . . . for additional new work!
