Artist's Description
I woke up early one morning to see that it was quite foggy. Wow ... I found out just how quickly I can get dressed and make it the 15 miles to the Antietam Battlefield, and the Burnside Bridge area, before the fog burns off! It was quiet, peaceful, a bit eerie and it made me think of smoke from gun and cannon fire. This area of the Battlefield is so lovely that it's hard to imagine that war ever touched this serene place.
About Judi Quelland
I was a professional photographer for more than 35 years. While my vocation included wedding and portrait photography and the restoration of very old (and not so old) images, my avocation goes toward the more creative. These include floral and landscape photography (hopefully with a different perspective), some special events that lend to creative images, and a few things that start as photographs but end as digital art creations. Stay tuned . . . for additional new work!

Very nice! I love fog over the water in the early mornings.
Judi Quelland replied:
Thanks! I waited a long time for a foggy morning like this one ... especially to have fog on a morning I didn't have to go to work!
